Passive Fire Protection Qualifications

Introduction

Two new qualifications in Passive Fire Protection are available from the IFE.  The qualifications were developed in partnership with the Association for Specialist Fire Protection (ASFP).  Full details of the content of the qualifications can be found by clicking on the name of the qualification below:

Examinations

Both of the qualifications are assessed by examination.  Examinations take place in March and October each year.  Please see the pages on this website relevant to March and October examinations for further information on timetables, booking arrangements etc.

Preparing for Examinations

Candidates preparing for examinations are advised to refer to the past paper and examiner reports for information on the format and style of examinations.  In addition, information on recommended reading is provided in the relevant qualification syllabus/specification.
